Waterslide decals are the fastest and easiest way to create professional looking customs. Here is a simple guide to using decals: print the decals found in the galleries below on either white or clear paper, cut out the design you want to start with, submerge it in water for 10 seconds, take it out of the water and set it aside for 50 seconds, then use your thumb to slide the decal onto the minimate. Wet the tip of your finger and smooth out any air bubbles. Let the decal dry for at least 4 hours before painting around the edges or painting clear coat. Wait 24 hours before placing any accessories on top of the decal.

Terms: These decals are for personal use only. They are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-No Derivative Works license. This means you are not allowed to sell minimates that use these decals. You are free to link to this page, but please do not redistribute these files. By downloading these files you agree that all character copyrights are held by their respective owners, and you will not sell these designs or claim them as your own work.
Notes: The size of the printed decals will vary depending on your printer and software. Always print a test sheet and compare the torso size to an actual minimate, then scale the page accordingly. Make sure to coat the decals in clear coat before using. I also recommend using an exacto blade or hobby knife to cut them out, as a scissors can leave rough edges. Once you apply the decals, let them dry for at least four hours, then carefully apply another coat of clear coat.
