My decal design tutorial using Adobe Illustrator is finished and waiting for you in the Tutorials section in the top menu. There is a free 30-day trial of this software available at Adobe.com. The software is not cheap, so I would recommend making good use of the 30-day trial. I chose Dead Girl from X-Statix as the subject of this tutorial. If you follow the steps and create this decal you should be able to create almost anyone. I hope this tutorial is helpful for you!

you need adobe illustrator right ? if you get a cheaper one (if there is ) would there be a difference?
An alternative software should have similar tools. Most of this tutorial would still apply.
